"The foundation for Brickhouse was laid in Malmö around 1997 by Magnus Andersson, who apart from singing and playing guitar also writes the songs for the band. His deep fondness of blues and soul as well as good traditional rock 'n' roll has a strong impact on his own material. This intense singer is the firm keeper of Brickhouse whose other talents are a strong-minded bunch of musicians per excellence! Pelle Jernryd on guitar, Magnus Noerrenberg on organ, Micke Nilsson on bass and Pontus Snibb on drums are no strangers to the musical neighborhood where the Brickhouse stands. This powerful band is versatile enough to manage anything from explosive 70's rock to soft ballads with a hint of country.
To add that extra touch to it all, Brickhouse is adorned by the two lovely chorus ladies Kajsa Eldh and Malin Ekstrand , whose beautiful voices pours out to join lead singers fiery approach, like melting honey on a hot piece of bread!"

CHEATIN' HEARTS
Marina Uppgren sjunger suveränt, Peter Andersson spelar steel som en gud, de heter Cheatin Hearts och har en debut-cd ute nu.
"Cheatin Hearts is a relatively new band, but the members are by no means newcomers to the Swedish country scene. Lead singer Marina Uppgren has on several occasions been voted one of Sweden's best singers.
Peter Andersson, playing steel for The Clayfeet Stompers, early saw the potential in Marina and got a band together to match her unique voice. The Cheatin Hearts came to include members from The Stompers and Jake & the Spitfires (one the best and hardest working country bands in Sweden) and Sophia Johansson, back-up singer.
The debut CD includes two songs written by Marina Uppgren and one by Peter Andersson. The other songs are carefully chosen covers by artists like Johnny Paycheck, Connie Smith and Buck Owens."
